The Sight That Blinds Us!

"According to compiled numbers from respected news and research organizations, every second $3,075.64 is being spent on pornography. Every second 28,258 internet users are viewing pornography. In that same second 372 internet users are typing adult search terms (porn) into search engines. Every 39 minutes a new pornographic video is being created in the U.S." Jerry Ropelato.

Oh Muslim youth, know that disabled minds only produce failure.

Allaah says: "And incline not towards those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you, and you will have no protectors other than Allaah, nor you would then be helped." Qur'an 11 verse 113.

Allaah says: "Fastaqeem kamaaa umirta-So stand (ask Allaah to make) you firm and straight (on Islam) as you are commanded." Qur'an 11 verse 112

Before the internet only people who had crossed some boarders of self-control and respect would go to shops to buy adult magazines or videos (pornography).

Sadly today, the ease of accessibility to adult websites (pornography) in the privacy of our homes without anyone seeing but Allaah has murdered modesty in our shores.

Truth is a statement of fact, If really we accept Islam as a complete way of life, then we just have to talk about the harms of pornography.

You know what, we are wrong when we think that we can watch pornography in the privacy of our rooms without no one seeing us, because Allaah is watching always.

The porn barons are pretty much like drug dealers, you get your first joint for free, then you're hooked and forced to go back to the dealer.

Watching nudity will constantly make a person feel guilty and worthless.

I swear by Allaah, boredom can be your downfall.

All evils come from spare time, humans are most vulnerable when they are less engaged. So you fill in the void by watching porn? What about dhikr?

"90% of what is on the internet is positive only 10% is negative, but 90% of the users go for the 10% and 10% of the users go for the 90% positive contents."

The youth have become vulnerable to pornography the like of which has never been witnessed in human history.

Young boys and girls know a dime about the minutest detail of sex simply because they have internet and they fear not Allaah, so they disobey Him comfortably.

The Satan will never give up hope in trying to mislead and to lure us into the blazing Fire and I guess porn is an effective tool.

People have become slaves to their lust, craving for sex simply because their fitrah has been damaged by pornography.

A dad and a mum in a house with their young girl or boy oblivious of the fact that he/she watches pornography. What an era!

What is the way out of this quagmire?

Read the Qur'an, make dua and give sadaqah and ask Allaah to take your sight and mind off pornography.

Try as much as possible to avoid being in seclusion so as not to pave way for the monster to strike in. At least, you simply can't watch porn when others are looking at you.

Man, pray on time and pray well and in shaa Allaah, Allaah will take your mind off pornography.

Sisters, help yourselves by helping your brothers by not putting up provocative avi on social media. Allaah is swift in punishment.

Imagine someone getting provoked to watch pornography just because you dressed provocatively. You sure gonna have a share in the sin.

We do things whose consequences we are oblivious of. One thing and there we go condemned by Allaah. Allaah save one and all.

Remember the guilt, the depression, the shame, that comes after committing the sin of watching porn or masturbating.

When your ego provokes you to watch pornography, shut the internet off, remember Allaah's gaze and remember the reward you will attract.

The way out of porn addiction is to always occupy your mind with something useful. Read books, talk sense, and think smart and of course pray tirelessly to Allaah.

Have a book with 365 days and thick each day that you watch no porn and record your success yourself before Allaah presents it to you.

Make a resolution of willing that: "I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO MY OLD WAYS AGAIN."

A look at multiple days without porn will make you happy and exalt your mention in the Court of Allaah in shaa Allaah.

What benefit is there in watching pornography or masturbating other than instant gratification of sexual urge and a permanent depression and a probable eternal condemnation in Hell?

You have to psychologically train yourself not to hit the search engine for pornography if really you love Allaah and His Rasul (p).

We are Muslims, a balanced nation, an Umma that hopes in Allaah's mercy, we don't deserve to look at pornography, it is a shame to anyone that reads the Qur'an and prays five times a day.

Read the Qur'an and in the recitation is a cure for all negative addictions.

Ya Allaah, bring modesty back to our shores.

Ya Allaah, give us the courage to control the lustful soul.

Ya Allaah, take our Muslim brothers and sisters off the hook of pornography, and introduce Hayaa and modesty in our lives.

Ya Allaah, let Your obedience be our temperament.

Ya Allaah, bless our Muslim youths with righteous spouses that they satisfy their sexual urge legitimately.

Ya Allaah, give us that sufficient amount of Taqwa that will become an obstacle to Your disobedience.

Brothers and sisters in Islam, I implore you for the sake of Allaah, to spread this exposition on pornography and its remedy to as many as possible, you could be saving a soul from the clutches of Satan.
