Notes from Makkah 3: Death no novelty 10

In the Name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. 

‎

"As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do." Surah as-Sajda Q32:19

Allaah has commanded us to fear Him as well as to obey Him and not to incline towards evil and evil doers and criminals lest death meets us in a pathetic state because our death is no novelty.‎

Everyday we are reminded by death itself that whatever we want to do and have to do in this world we should and must do it for the right reasons because our death is no novelty.

Death reminds us that we can either be remembered for the good or for the bad we left behind and with Allaah is our records and no amount of good or bad will make us escape death because our death is no novelty.

Many have died while their loved ones anticipated their calls, messages and even their presence but alas wherever the angel of death goes he rules because our death is no novelty.

While death does not recognise our VIP or impoverished status when it comes, the angel of death recognises people of Iman from disbelieve Yet this recognition does not deter him because our death is no novelty.

Whatever agenda we are promoting let it be a good one and for the sake of Allaah and according to the Sunnah so that we don't end up losers because our death is no novelty.

Why Taqwa (fear of Allaah) with sound Aqeedah (correct Islamic creed) matters is that even if someone dies in Las Vegas Allaah will resurrect him among the righteous and if he dies ascribing  partners with Allaah even if it is in Makkah, Allaah won't admit him to paradise. 

Death is always lurking around the corner and hovering above us. We can go at anytime.

May Allaah forgive and admit those that died in the Mina Stampede in to paradise and protect the Ummah against such tragedies in the future.‎
